Hello Godotneers,
I joined about half a year ago but never took a deeper look into Godot until recently.
As a kid I discovered that there are games on 286 computers. I had no manuals and all games were in english, but I enjoyed figuring out how to play them. Many years later I thought to give programming a try and learned C# and when Unity arrived I was happy to see a game engine that uses C# and offered plenty of learning resources.
I actually never finished any game and spend about 7 years learning how certain features of games are made or how you would do things in theory, which I find very interesting. Maybe I am/was stuck in tutorial hell? Idk.
However, learning those things was fun, but making something out of it not so much, especially recently.
The first few times I looked at Godot I was scared away, but in the past few weeks I found something in it I've been missing for a long time.
Fun. So, maybe I can finally create, at least, a small game.
As I'm not good with final words:
Good luck and most importantly, have fun everyone!
