cybereality he says, getting on the forums every 30 minutes and helping countless people. <3
Talk about anything
cybereality I hate those graphics. Unless maybe it's a game like Papers please or some silly simulation.
Nerdzmasterz Yes, but no one even has a thread titled VR except me. I'm all alone there.
- Not quite right — one thread has its posts from other members.
- The topics are very narrow and specific.
For example I don't do a VR course and am mainly interested in 3D, which is only part of VR. And as you can see, on VR in general, there are a lot of answers here
You could open a new, more general topic or rename one of the old ones.
cybereality What do you all think about graphics like this?
If you like the graphics, it makes sense to do and see how much demand there is for it.

They come to the moon and there are remnants of Kubrick's props…
Tomcat remnants of Kubrick's props…
Imagine the irony if it turned out that Kubrick filmed it on the moon all along...

Already hear the moon hoax conspiracy types rejoicing: "See, we knew it was all made up !"
Edit: scrubbed. Ok, enough, wake me when it is on its way
cybereality There will be other games under such circumstances
I have such a question. Who is Godot project exported so fast to HTML5 or Android? I'm not good at this. But let's say I work on desktop Linux and the engine itself is built for it. But when I export to another platform, the engine should not be reassembled abroad?

Slava Godot export templates are just that, export templates. The executables have already been pre-compiled. Theres nothing to build, it just copies some files from the export template folder over to your project folder.
If you should want a custom executable with a custom icon and whatnot you'll have to go ahead and build your own custom export template then.
Megalomaniak The whole truth about the moon landing in a Russian comic book:
I apologise for the possibly inaccurate translation.
The actual truth.
I know you all are joking, but this has been totally debunked. Read here.
https://www.history.com/news/moon-landing-fake-conspiracy-theories
I like this video that goes into why the video technology of the time wasn't able to fake the moon landing.
You want to know the truth? I'll tell you the truth alright. It was me. I did it. I faked the moon landing. I am the main culprit. Muhahah! The Russians will never catch me!
The funny part (or sad part) about these outrageous, obviously bogus, conspiracy theories is the project management aspect. Like people talk about COVID being fake. Can you imagine being the project manager on that conspiracy? Or do they have any experience working on teams? It's almost impossible to get like 25 people working at the same company to coordinate properly. So people are saying that somehow tens or hundreds of thousands of government officials, doctors, scientists, the media companies, etc. are all going to be in on it, and all agree, and no one is going to slip up and there won't be a single whistleblower? You'll have a better chance of winning the lottery, or the Earth being destroyed by a meteor, before you can get that many people to agree. It's just dumb.
cybereality you have to live in a country w/o free press for a few years before you realize that kind of thing would get uncovered really quick in the US, I think the root these problems are more interesting; perhaps its widespread cynicism or just a lack of interesting mysteries / parts of the world covered in fog of war-like mechanics. There's no fountain of youth on earth, we looked everywhere, we're bored. There's no real threat to western civilization; more boredom. This is why people watch ancient aliens. They say to persuade someone you have to lead the person to come to the conclusion themselves, there's got to be some parallels to game design there.
Well, real life can be kind of boring. It's much more fun to believe in aliens and conspiracies.
cybereality I saw no proof in there that Kubrick didn't film 2001: A Space Odyssey on the moon.
cybereality Can you imagine being the project manager on that conspiracy?
Nope. I can't. Because you have to be more psychopathic than I am right now to run a project like this. But I know people like that.
Or do they have any experience working on teams? It's almost impossible to get like 25 people working at the same company to coordinate properly.
WHO has slightly more staff than 25.
But please note — I didn't start the political thread.
First of all, how do I know this. I am in the business of creating a socio-economic simulator. Those who are at least a little bit familiar with the realities of this world understand that the term that is missing and implied here is "political". I am closely following and researching events relevant to the project.
I have a counter question: is the covid vaccination voluntary or what? Why are people who do not want to be vaccinated restricted in their civil rights?
