I was watching someone playing the game with his friends for the sake of wasting time, until they reached a map called "Typhoon" and OMG THE WATER!!!

It was an outstanding piece of tech art, my guess about the water is that it used the sum of sines technique and maybe used dynamic level of detail but I'm reeeeally curious about how they made the water shader and how they handled sea spray.

    EEE474 It's likely FFT. Splashes are handled with particles.
