Hi there! Delighted to be here. I'm a long time Unity user, here exploring Godot for.. oh... no reason in particular.

I've been struggling to get it set up right. I'm sure I'm on the mono version of 4.1.1, and I have dotnet 6.0.414 installed. (I also have dotnet 5 installed because Unity). I'm getting no errors or warnings in Godot. I've tried creating a fresh project.. deleting my solution files... even created a global.json file to make sure it was pointing at the right dotnet installation.. nothin. I've tried VSCode, visual studio, and the built in editor. I've even exhausted GPT 4, who is now crying in a corner.

System Environment variables to dotnet are set.... dotnet --version returns 6.0.414...

I'm totally at a loss. Any wisdom would be hugely appreciated.

Holy crap I solved the problem moments after posting. I am glad that no matter what game engine I use, that will always be one constant in the universe.

I simply installed dotnet 7, and it seems to work with the latest vscode.

Thank you very much! Was similarly having problems with Intellisense not working for Godot in VSCode and installing the .NET SDK 7.0.401 made it start working. Much appreciated!
