Sometimes i feel the need to spread my love of coffee. It just makes life... better!

I would imagine that Coffee is probably the second most shared joy we all have in common... aside from GODOT!

However the age old quandary still applies....
Americano?
Espresso?
BLACK COFFEE?
CREAM AND SUGAR?
ICED?
Coffee-less ice-cream drinks (you know who you are).
TEA? ( i guess you could be British)!!!!!
The weird mushroom powder stuff (ew)!?
Arguably the most important aspect is the method of brewing and the vessel to accomplish said task.
French press?
Drip?
Standard percolator?
Keurig?
Cold brew?
Steep?
Loose leaf or packet?
Furthermore:
pre-ground?
name brand or store brand?
whole bean?
Earl grey or Chamomile?
I would include an option for those who don't drink coffee... but i highly suspect this to not be a thing! Unless you have no hands and can't drink coffee... or respond to this message... in such a case... i pour some out for you (but not really, I'm sorry)!

I personally find a nice Dark Roast, Whole bean, freshly ground... French pressed in water just below boiling... allowing to sit 4 min before pressing.... BLACK to be the best method! I enjoy this 4-5 times a day.... typically with a side of keyboard and pixels.

As a hardcore coffee addict, I use store-brand instant coffee, make it in a microwave (75 seconds at high power) and drink it black.

@DaveTheCoder cheers to that! i don't discriminate caffeine injection methods in any way. my ex wife was from south America... and it blew my mind how they all drank instant coffee... surrounded by the best coffee in the world (arguably), and they drank instant. it does have a robust flavor! i use it mainly in cooking (especially in soups/stews!).

i like to make a hot chocolate twice a day, and dump a shot of coffee into it. very tasty, however i do not recommend it after a heavy meal. another issue is the theobromine in most cocoa can mix with the caffeine to create a stimulant cocktail that can mess up your focus rather than boost it.
recently my mother got influenced into subscribing to this monthly mushroom coffee thing. she didn't like it, and sent it to me. it's alright, it's basically instant coffee, collagen protein, some kind of nootropic mushroom powder and l-theanine. by itself it's not great, but it adds an earthy flavor to actual coffee that i kind of like if you combine the two. my sleep is terrible juggling night shifts with daytime bullcrap, but i think the brain enhancing stuff works. i've developed better solutions in more rapid spurts of inspiration since i've started using it, but you know how bias works. it might just be in my head.
i can say the collagen protein does not work on skin health, or it does but not enough to offset the damage of terrible sleep, dehydration, less than cool diet and a large daily dose of cuts, friction and warehouse dust and dirt.

Such a thing as coffee in drip packs has been imported into our remote wilderness. Of course, it is a bit short of coffee brewed in turks, but it surpasses any instant misunderstanding.

Covfee is one of the most terrible drugs in the world.. it clouds the mind, gives you a boost but then you fall back like a bum from a tree. If you dont do covfee for a while you get withdrawals that are out of this world.. better stay away from that garbage. But i still use it, cuz you cant do coke while operating machnery 🇧

I was so happy when they started selling pods and coffee machines that consume them. Each pod in the trash I could just envision a beautiful, long well traveled life at sea. Bon voyage, little pods. Don't settle down too early. I know you'll keep some baby fish safe and cozy.

kuligs2 i think the one or two hours of crashing down like flaming jet plane is worth the 6-8 hours of productivity/focus/feeling alive. not everyone needs it, but some people are just messed up without chemical intervention. i'm using coffee to self medicate depression and several attention disorders. it's not super addictive, withdrawal is tolerable, i know it works, and it tastes pretty good, so in that sense, it's better for me than amphetamines or ritalin. the coffee stains on my teeth are getting worse by the year, though..
