i need attention, and i'm very proud of this rabbit.

this website(packrat.neocities.org) gets updated at least once every 5 days, whether or not i have anything cool to share.
visit it at your leisure, and be sure to post mean comments here as well as in my email inbox, displayed semi-proudly at the top of this webpage(packrat.neocities.org(the_packrat@proton.me)):

i swear animations are coming soon. godot is not friendly with the animation style, but it's getting there, slowly, hack by hack.

the last 5 days I've opened Godot, i am met with this image.
it never fails to make me giggle.

xyz in an ancient proof of concept i forgot to post here, yeah.
like a dum-dum, i also forgot to archive it. it's gone forever. eventually, the hopping will return, with (mostly)fully customizable bunnies.
be excited. it was impressive enough for my mother to mention it to her date a couple weeks ago.

    14 days later

i've been spending a lot of time on menu/scene code instead of animating.
besides that, i am very sick.
since i have nothing to show you, i am going to open source precisely 4 blocks of code via this .png

    (subject to change)

i am no longer sick as far as a doctor is concerned. however, i think UI framework design should be argument enough to add another integer to the universal 1-10 "owie" scale.

as a middle-school dropout, i am proud to announce i'm conquering my demons, and pictured below is the carnage from my most recent skirmish with algebra, a class i never took.
this took at least 5 years off my life, and i think i could have saved 4 of those years if i looked up a tutorial or took a class or something.

i'm not kidding about those years. this messed up my cardiovascular health. heart palpitations, random head rush as i am not moving a muscle. this messed me up so bad i snapped and biked 4 towns over before i thought for a second where i'm actually going.
it was totally worth it, i got free food from a very nice pizza place manager.

Toxe Um, what does it do?

It controls uranium rods coolant submersion inside @packrat's nuclear reactor.

      • Toxe replied to this.

xyz Ah, right, of course. Carry on then.

Toxe it's a packrat©-made Range class reimagined from Control specifically for this project, along with some cool looking squares and numbers that control uranium rod coolant submersion in my nuclear reactor. it's probably slightly lighter, but more importantly, i made it because i could.

packrat more importantly, i made it because i could

          That's the spirit!

packrat this took at least 5 years off my life, and i think i could have saved 4 of those years if i looked up a tutorial or took a class or something

Think of all the years you'll get back though from not having to touch the uranium with your hands now!

          a sneaky look.

@SuperDoomKing i'm not stealing your thunder, i promise. i'm copying an entirely different art style.
someone really should name this project..
