I have started experimenting with decals to bring more variety to my project. However, in-game, they either flicker abominably depending on camera angle or don't show at all (they show fine in the editor though). Using a sorting offset (pretty high numbers, 30-100 units for a game where the player is 2 units tall) fixes this, but I am stumped as to why I have to do this to begin with. What could be the cause for this? I couldn't reproduce this behavior with a simple test scene, where decals work just fine out of the box.
