Got home to a wet server that no longer turns on (gf managed to get water on it while watering plants)
Good news is it's almost certainly just a mobo replacement and will get a new one tomorrow.
Tbh could probably fix it with some isopropyl given there's no burnt caps or signs of shorting, but doubt I'd really trust it again and it needs to be stable for long ML stints.
Most annoying thing is I maxed out the CPU just 2ish months ago (5950x) as a "final 18 month stint on this mobo" kinda vibe. Had I known I could've waited for AM5 >.<
Not how I wanted my evening to go but honestly by the look of it got incredibly lucky. Couple inches to the right and that's a wet rtx3090 lol
Partly my fault. I only moved in to hers recently and yet to find a proper secure home for it. Now eyeballing some proper housing for it haha.
