MikeCL So it's officially out now, Blender 5.0! Get it here! So that happened way sooner than I thought. I must confess that I don't know much about the release.
kuligs2 MikeCL Dont use it on existing projects 😃 Backwards compatibility is lackluster. Addons also break.. need few months to be usable.
DaveTheCoder kuligs2 Don't use it on existing projects A model I created in Blender 2 seems to be compatible with Blender 5. But it's just a simple 3D model. No bones, modifiers, etc.
kuligs2 DaveTheCoder forward compatibility works but not backwards... at least according to the changelogs
