Nothing happened when I double-clicked the Godot4.4.1 file or ran it as an administrator. However, double-clicking Godot4.3 will open the project Manager normally.
The following is my computer configuration:
Windows10 22H2
AMD Ryzen 5 7500F 3.70GHz
RAM:32GB, 6000MHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
I'd like to know what might have gone wrong and how to fix it, please.

maybe some win 10 dependency.. time to upgrade to linux i guess


The above is the feedback I got when I opened the two applications using the command line. Godot4.4.1 did not provide any valid error message, but simply did not respond, and Godot4.3 opened the project manager normally after reporting the above information.

Try experimenting with some of the command line options (documented at the link I posted).

Thank you, here's what I get when I run some commands.
Another observation I made was that running -d after running --version for the first time allowed me to access the Godot project Manager in offline mode. At this point, close the project manager and repeat the above operations without closing the cmd command window, and the previous phenomenon will not be successfully repeated (sometimes an error will be reported, sometimes no response).

So if you cant open the godot 4.4 but you can open godot 4.3, then why dont you compile the god damn thing?

Note: YOu wont be able to revert your project after you save it using the newer version..

As for windows compilation its pretty easy.. https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/contributing/development/compiling/compiling_for_windows.html

You need two softwares ming and scons and just follow the instructions..
