Hello again, just as the title says, and maybe i'm getting way ahead of myself on this, but i wanted to ask if anyone knows what kind of sound or graphics.....mostly sound resources are free to use without fear of my/a project being struck down due to the copyright plague that's hurting this day and age. I have mostly noticed that old games use similar sound effects or soundfonts/music that were slightly pitched up/pitched down/slowed down/sped up/etc, so there must be a library of resources that even most famous studious must have used, but can't quite find it XD

You already seem to be familiar with the terms royalty and free. I suggest using them as search terms. Always pay attention to licenses however. And sadly there are cases of misattribution out there where something has been uploaded to a site claiming copyright and offers royalty free licensing terms only to turn out to be stolen work that the uploader has no copyright to. But overall it is rare and in case of a DMCA you normally just need to cease from further use of the asset(s).

Note there's also Public domain works(compositions) you could use. In sheet music format for an example, but you have to create your own rendition for recordings of them can still be copyrighted as renditions by the artists playing and recording them. That's what the ℗ symbol as opposed to © symbol is for, btw.

these sites are good sources of textures and PBR materials, as well as skies and some high quality models, but they are mostly for 3D. all of the assets are cc0 (public domain) so you can use them for whatever you want.
    https://www.sharetextures.com/
    https://polyhaven.com/
    https://ambientcg.com
    https://3dtextures.me

the site www.textures.com (formerly cgtextures) was one of the most popular for game developers, specially AAA, but has become obsolete unless you buy materials, as only plain textures are free. It also has a license with many conditions, one is that you can't bundle the textures in a GPL game, or use them in certain ways. Godot is MIT so they should be compatible as long as you don't convert your project to GPL. but at the end of the day it's up to them to allow this or not.
for sounds I usually go to freesounds and look for public domain sounds or ones with a compatible license. or just record them myself on my phone.
for music you can try jamendo, the songs have licenses, and for a commercial game you can contact the artists and agree on a license, or at least that's what it used to say, I haven't been there in a while. These days I try to make music with MuseScore 2, either my own or use notes from public domain music. you can also find public domain music (usually old, like folk or classic) around the internet. just make sure the file is public domain, a song from 300 years ago can still have copyright if it was played by someone from this era.
OpenGameArt.org is good, you can find some of my old assets (just a castle wall and one other texture). assets there tend to be poor quality or disjointed (or used to), but it's all free.

A couple of sites I've used:
    https://gamesounds.xyz (sound effects)
    https://soundimage.org (background music)

There are licenses, but they're reasonable.

Xrayleader there must be a library of resources that even most famous studios must have used

They have big budgets to pay for resources and lawyers to protect them from being sued.

Tomcat Thanks!, and mostly a library where i can sample sound effects/music, in regard of graphics maybe some grassland/cave/natural/etc graphics, but that one i can try to make my own and maybe use those as reference

for retro sfx I used sfxr or bfxr.

normal sfx I would use GDC Audio Bundle.
or maybe I'll just record myself with my phone.

For music I used Incompetech, he used to have a website with a filter on bpm, genre, mood and stuff to search his music but I can't find them anymore.

Recently Youtube is recommending me composers who made royalty free music, most of the selection is not as good as incompetech but occasionally there are amazing one. I bookmarked them!

my advice: don't use "royalty-free" sound sample CDs you find at the thrift stores. they're often labelled "royalty-free", but are often not royalty free. you could get away with it if the studio who mixed the sounds went under, or you know, the credited people died.
i wouldn't count on that however. roblox used a ton of samples from those 1990s "10,000+ FREE SOUNDS!!" CDs, including the oof and got sued over it somewhat recently.

Better just make them yourself, all you need a a mic, which you already have in some capacity, and a software to mix it, throw in some pans and stuff laying around and bob is your uncle
