Basically that, my gunshot audio is not making a single sound when i press the "playing" button. It does appear to be executing the audio, but not even a beep is coming out of the sfx. It's not a problem with my headphone or the audio in itself, as both are going as normal, and the audio that i used is playing just fine outside godot, but when i use it as sfx for my gunshots, it simply does not make a single sound, not even in editing, and not even in-game...

kuligs2 I get that, the problem is not that. My audio file is an mp3, which the video said was totally fine. Problem is, it doesn't make a single sound, even while appearing that the audio is playing. Again, when i press the "playing" button or anything to make the audio play, it does appear to be playing, but there's no sound coming off the audio, like it's intended to show. Even in-game, it doesn't make a single beep when i shoot with a gun.

It's like the audio is muted, there's no sound coming off of it, even if it shows that it's playing

One possibility is that the node that's playing the audio is destroyed before the audio has time to play.

If that's not it, upload a minimal reproduction project, and state your full Godot version.

    DaveTheCoder well, this is quite odd, but now the audio is playing just fine? and it's executing well in the game. I did literally nothing but close and open my project and now for some reason its working normally...well at least is something ig

    sorry but i guess i should have replied with - have you tried to turn it off/on? My bad. Will do that next time. Would save you hours debugging.
