Hello! I'm currently making my own VR game in Godot. I want to give the player mechanical robot hands, but the human hand models in Godot XR Tools simply won't do. I'm currently modelling my own hands in Blender, but I have never rigged anything before, let alone VR hand models. I have no idea what to do, and I can't find any exact information on the internet.

The closest thing I could find was this Unity tutorial. It does teach me how to rig a hand in Blender, but when the person in the video imported it into Unity, they had to do a lot of setup to get the animations to work. I don't think that it is very compatible with Godot.

From what I've seen in a Reddit post, it's clearly not impossible. I did ask the OP if they could give me some guidance, but after a month of no response, I resorted to asking here.

Does anyone have any idea how this can be done? Thank you in advance for your time.
