Hey guys, I just need an info help about something (engine choosing phase). [Helping friend]

Is it possible to do in Godot, a platformer game akin to Earthworm Jim, Alien Carnage, Rayman Legends (not that high complexity of it -just more like the feel of it), in about 4 months of production?

This question is aimed at coder side of the development.

PS -I know it depends of a lot of things and features that go into the project, but since I dont know much about it, just some rough aim as those games, in term of gameplay, boss fights etc. Sry. So the question is in line of weather working in Godot would give production speed and easiness of use (also when compared with other engines -gameMaker, UE etc), to be able to achieve everything in that time period.

It's most likely your control nodes. Check them yo make sure they are anchored well to fit the view.

4 months for a full game is cutting it close regardless of engine you use, but for a 2d platformer, godot will be faster than many (but not all) other options.
