Material flickering on far away objects

It kinda looks like z-fighting but the planets are not even touching each other... I've tried removing the materials outright but it didn't help at all. Not sure what else it could be.

Btw, I tested on both the latest stable (4.1.1) and the latest dev (4.2 dev6), but the issue appears on both of them

Maybe it's the lod level changing aggressively when the shape morphing happens.

MagickPanda Hmmm... I don't think so. The meshes are incredibly low poly as is and even cranking LOD bias to the max didn't fix the problem

xyz Doesn't seem to do much. Whether the far range is the default 4000 or 10000, it doesn't seem to do much as pretty much all of the scene is withing 4000 units of the player

leekleak Camera near is much more important here, as it can severely affect depth buffer precision at far ranges. You should set near as big as possible while keeping far as small as possible.
