That file hasn't been updated since Feb, but it's the same one that's in the .zip download for the PR, so I suppose it's still accurate.

No, it is not. The latest release is for 4.0 currently and since then the dev builds have changed as well. You can have a look at the GDExtension docs for the 4.1 version (be sure to check which docs branch you read)

v3.0.1 of the plugin is now available for testing with Godot 4.1+, without the need to recompile anything.

I tested it briefly with Godot 4.1.2-rc1 and 4.2-dev5, and didn't find any problems.
