I just released my first game made with Godot (and indeed any engine): https://codeberg.org/BWPanda/sleuth

It's a logic puzzle game for Android, free and open-source. I have a lot of improvements/optimisations I want to make, but if I tried to do them all before release I'd never get there (too much of a perfectionist). So here's the initial release, with hopefully many more to come.

Shouldn't you release it on a platform? For example, Steam, Microsoft play Store, or even on web?

Thanks SixDots. I considered this, and have put my thoughts here: https://codeberg.org/BWPanda/sleuth/issues/8

TLDR: I'll consider updating the app to properly work with a mouse to allow a Web version in future, but otherwise will stick with my repo's Releases for now.

I'm usually good at word games, despite being mildly Autistic, I'm quite clever! 😃

Congrats on releasing your first game! That's awesome! I just checked out the link you shared, and it looks really cool. I love logic puzzle games, so I'm definitely going to give it a try on my Android device. Being free and open-source is a big plus too! Don't worry about having a bunch of improvements in mind. It's great that you're eager to make the game even better, but sometimes, it's better to release it and gather feedback from players. That way, you can prioritize what needs to be done. You know, a couple of years ago, I made a game. I wanted to create a game based on solitaire patterns, so firstly, I studied how does solitaire cash work and then got to work. So, it's really important to always learn and study, especially if you're a game maker. Anyway, good luck!!
