Our studio decided to give away the game for free, without getting any money from it at all. It has no payments of any kind. You can pass it on to your friends, we will even be happy. The game is an arena PVP shooter. You can play with bots, monsters and over the network (direct IP). Made on the Godot 4 engine. We will gradually update and supplement it. This is an early version, we will continue to add levels and other content to it. We tried to prove that Godot can be used not only for small games and demoscenes, but also for full-fledged large projects. It's difficult, the engine has a lot of limitations, but if you approach it wisely, then everything is possible.
Developers rarely appear here, but if they suddenly see and want to use our game in advertising the engine, we will be happy. I haven't been able to contact them by email.

The only limitation is the Russian language. I will add an English version later. There is very little text in the game, this should not interfere with the game.

Tomcat
Weapon
Axe. On the left mouse button, removes 50 lives, hits quickly. On the right, it removes 100 lives, hits slowly. Important! With an ax in hand, the running speed increases. This is especially true in Capture the Flag mode.
Gun. Has infinite ammo. The left button fires single rounds. When the right button is pressed, it accumulates a charge, up to 6 bullets. So you can oneshot (oneshot oneshot) with a pistol.
Shotgun. On the left button shoots buckshot. On the right, it shoots two rounds with a large dispersion of buckshot.
Minigun. The left button shoots accurately and slowly. On the right, quickly and with a wide spread.
Rocket launcher. On the left button, the usual rocket launch. On the right, the missile begins to search for a target. Finding - rushes after the goal. If the target is dodged, the missile continues to search for a new target until it explodes.
Grenade launcher. On the left button, a grenade is fired. On the right button, a shot of a hyped grenade.
Plasma gun. On the left button quickly shoots beams of plasma. On the right button, a shield appears. Hitting the shield consumes ammo equal to the amount of damage. Does not absorb explosions or plasma.
Self-propelled rifle. When it hits a target, the rifle remembers the target and all other bullets begin to point towards that target on their own. For guidance, you need a small distance, it will not work closely. On the right button resets the target. The perfect weapon for ranged combat.
Turret gun. On the left button, it throws out a turret, which takes 100 rounds into itself. The turret searches for the target itself and tries to destroy it. With the right button, the turret gun aims all turrets at a specific target. Turrets can be picked up close by pressing the English key "E" on them. An equivalent amount of turret gun ammo will appear in your inventory. Turrets can be destroyed by shooting at them.

Rest
The game has a flashlight. "F" button
Barrels can be kicked with the "E" button
The character can climb ledges.
Rocketjump is best done in armor. Rocketjump removes 50 defense and 50 health.
There is no headshot. A hit in the head and in the body of the enemy is considered the same in terms of damage.
Getting hit by a flying devourer slows the player down.

Modes
Deathmatch: All players fight against each other, count as FRGs
Team battle: A team-to-team battle. Frags count
Capture the Flag: Two teams try to capture each other's flag and bring it back to their base without losing their flag.

Modifiers
Invasion: Monsters appear on the map and attack random players. When killing a monster, a frag is counted. If the monster killed the player, the frag is taken away from him
Armed: The player starts with all weapons except the turret gun. Weapons, ammo and first aid kits no longer lie on the map.
Low Gravity: Players' gravity is lowered (Like on the moon)

Berserk and time stopper
Berserker: Heals the player on pickup and when the effect ends. Increases the damage of all weapons by 3 times for the duration.

Time Stopper stops all missiles, grenades and plasma for 10 seconds.
The time stopper also affects all monsters.

not to rain on your parade and all the hard work this clearly took, but I really feel like you made the right decision not trying to sell this.
putting aside how arena shooters don't really sell in general, this doesn't have enough unique ideas or a good enough presentation to compete with even the free ones, like openArena or Xonotic.
everything has that floaty mid-2000's freeware shooter game feel to it, like the original red eclipse. nothing has impact, even the shotgun feels weak. beefier sound effects and animation that's not so smoothly tweened would do wonders for alleviating that without even having to change the code much, if at all.
edit cause I just thought of it: take a look at the original half-life's revolver, for example. when you fire that thing it flings backwards, and makes a huge, loud boom. compare that to yours and it's easy to see which one is more satisfying. doom's super shotgun is a good example of the difference sound design alone can make, it barely moves at all but people remember that distinctive BOOM, chic-chik, noise extremely fondly.

and while the placeable turret's a great idea I haven't seen before, it's the only gun that's not part of a typical arena shooter checklist. I know original ideas are hard to come up with, but they can really help sell your game. even something as simple as jamming two usual concepts together can produce something worthwhile and new, like for example a chaingun grenade launcher or a rocket shotgun.
it's a good game, and it is functional. in fact if you added more weight to everything I'd say it was even very enjoyable. just don't think it'd sell well, even if you did fix that.

Very nice ! I was not able to play since I use linux, le me know if you launch a linux version.
The only thing I didnt like was some audio in english, why not everything in russian ?
I would adivice to add a pve mode against zombies or something, there is a lack of games like this in the market, you could launch in steam or something.

Thanks for the feedback. We will continue to improve the game. I have now updated the version with a destructible factory level.

      IceBergyn
We're still doing voice acting. In the settings there will be a choice of Russian and English text and voice acting.

Turrets are interesting. Destructibility is very interesting. How much destructibility is planned: just the walls or can you bring down the roof by destroying the walls? And the funnel in the floor (ground) to do realistic?

I'm curious if the free game will bring in any revenueโ€ฆ

        Tomcat
The destruction is done without the participation of physics, as in Worms. The floor of the level cannot be destroyed, the rest can be. Small things simply scatter into pieces, holes appear in large walls and ceilings.

Engardium The destruction is done without the participation of physics, as in Worms.

In the last frame, a piece of the wall that wasn't hit by the blast is left hanging in the air. But it's still much better than other shooters, where there's no destruction at all. ๐Ÿ’ฅ

not to beat a dead horse but that rocket launcher in your webm is a good example of what I mean.
the debris flying across the level in massive chunks is great feedback, and the sound design sounds like some kind of high-pressure pneumatic force, the explosion effect is an impressively sized fireball, all that is great!
... then you look at the gun when you fire it, and it barely even moves a full inch. even a simple touch like having it kick up a bit when you fire would make a world of difference.

So I downloaded this last night, I can't get Exe files to work on Linux ๐Ÿ™

Just in case, I post the English version of the video here.
