Here's an instrumental I made and I'm going to put this one in my game; it's a mix between trap music and Metal; hope you enjoy it:
Music Discussion! Anything Goes! Mostly.
Nice! I really like it.
packrat You won't playing around when you said that Matchbook Romance had a darker sound; that songs real nice. If I would reply with all of my favorite metal and rock songs, I could be accuse of spam. Here songs that have a dark song sound but, a motivational message:
I can relate to the message on this one.
I can also relate this one.
cybereality Thanks.

cybereality I love everything about Japan, but for some reason I could never get into the music.
cybereality Something like this?

Audiobellum I'll be honest. It's way better than I expected.
Audiobellum Ah yeah, friends love this kind of stuff. I prefer grungier but Spirits is insanely good.
Anyways, if you like what MCR used to do where they told morbid stories through punk, you may like PUP. It's a dirtier sound and the stories are less romantic, but it's still deliciously depressing. This song especially kills me everytime.

Oops. I haven't been online in a while. My plans to create a less moderated, NON-POLITICAL forum for anyone here who wants to resurrect the forbidden Talk About Anything of yesteryear got interrupted. Things got weird, now I'm in midwest America without a real home and looking for a job so I'm not kicked on the streets somewhere in the plains. It gets cold out here in the winter, but I'm so glad my entire studio-minus-2nd_monitor fits in a leather messenger bag, otherwise I'd be bored out of my mind in nothingtown limbo.
Good news is, used bass guitars are a lot cheaper out here, and thanks to my ex 8 years ago, I'm pretty good with it. Even if the strings are kinda rusted.
Anyways, if you want a weird combination of sounds from a single band in a single album, check out Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Lonely Road. These dudes just mashed post-hardcore with whatever they felt like for the whole album.
DaveTheCoder Sorry dude, I just got around to listening to this. How does making sound like that work with a trumpet? It freaks me out but in a cool way.

Am terribly busy constructing my new place. We're 3 months behind planning, due to lack of materials (Aluminium for instance) and also cases of sickness. I'm also learning a new programming language (Rust), so my project is on hold right now.
When I'm finally in my new place, I'm dreaming of starting to play the piano :-)
Anyway, here is Rush, Available Light. People who have done photography in the 70s and 80s may have a better idea of what "available light" means.
When the guitar kicks in to "Run with wind and weather ..." it gives me the goose bumps ... still after 40 years :-)
Pixophir You know, I also always wanted to learn piano, but I found guitars are way more portable. It's hard lugging around a piano when you don't know where you're going to be the next day. I used to play the ocarina flute but I got sick of how bad mine sounded and good ones cost way more than I can afford. You can imagine they're not easy to find used too.
I'm lucky my project hasn't been halted at all, in fact it's progressed way faster with how many days I've spent on the train not sleeping and nothing else to do. Eventually the core parts will be done enough and talking to each other well enough I can release a demo here.
I'm not a good programmer. This takes a while.

packrat How does making sound like that work with a trumpet?
Are you referring to the tuba player? I didn't know it was possible to play notes that quickly on a tuba.
My only experience with a musical instrument was the trombone.
You guys like punk? 2003 japanese punk? With a bit of hip hop?
One time for some reason, Ken Loyd, the lead singer of Oblivion Dust and Inoran, the dude who basically does everything of Luna Sea collabed in a band called FAKE?, where they proceeeded to debut at some rando underground concert, and then proceed further to not even once promote themselves until after their second album. I don't know why it happened but I like it, and Ken Loyd likes to sing in english.
Super crunchy bass and percussion. It's an abstract type of angry, as if rage had the potential to be soothing and disturbing at the same time.
Except for the couple tracks that are clearly pretty angry.

Love this band. They've got such a great sound. I would call it Rock but genres all meld nowadays so.
Highly recommend not even paying attention to the video and just listening.
Meh, the last good British Pop song was "Shotgun" by George Ezra IMO, other than that, UK Pop music has sucked since 1996.

I like to watch good music shows. Recently, I started actively searching for reliable online platforms to watch movies and shows for free. And recently I came across https://ww14.soap2day.day/. This site offers a huge catalog of movies and TV series of various genres, ranging from blockbusters to independent projects. I was especially pleased that no registration or payment is required to view the content. The site's interface is also quite intuitive, making it easy to navigate. However, I would recommend using this resource with caution and perhaps pay attention to the supported countries, as content availability can vary by region.
