Godot version: v3.4.5.stable.official [f9ac000d5]

Godot on steam

Option is checked. I have restarted Godot multiple times to verify. Still shows a console window when launching Godot Editor and for every PlayScene instance. Would like not to see multiple console windows.

What operating system? I don't have this issue on Linux, but I had to hide the console manually.

McSamwich Windows 11, maybe its a windows 11 thing.

Perhaps this is a peculiarity of Steam. On Win 11 I have the console hiding. That is, pops up at the first moment of startup and immediately hides.

Probably not very right that you can not access the editor settings from the Project Manager. In order to change the settings, you must first load a project. This is not very logical and convenient.

I tried Windows 11, it works for me. Both exe and Steam. However, the way Godot works, it's launched from the command line. So you will always see the console window for a brief moment. The editor setting just closes it after the engine has launched. I never see it when I test my projects or on the export. On Linux I was able to do something so the console doesn't show at all, but I can't remember what it was or if it works on Windows.

Hmm yea my console window stays open for the editor and I get one for playing the game or each scene as well, so most of the time 2 are open. Really clutters my taskbar sometimes.
