cocos has supported HarmonyOS (an IOT OS developed by Huawei, can be used on celphones, pads, TVs, watches etc, and link them)

HarmonyOS is said to be open source (or at least "openharmony" part ). Maybe some day godot can support it too?

(probably only some Chinese developer are familiar with HarmonyOS (such as my pad is using it) , so maybe there's more Chinese godoter's work to make it come true?...tho still wish people from other country also able to join. lol)

(ps: I heard that cocos is open source too)

Are the APIs open and documented? Do they provide instructions for building software on or for Harmony?

If the answers to these are yes then there is no reason that the Chinese godot user community couldn't build and share export templates by yourselves. If one or both are no then you'd be better off asking the Harmony developers if they could build and provide export templates for godot targeting Harmony OS.

Me in China 2011: oh yuck this is all malware.
Me in China 2022: plz destroy US tech giants.

If the OS turns out to be good enough to sprout wings & leave China I'd support it.

Will not turn out good enough.

Actually now HarmonyOS still feels like Android in China (it supports Android apps, though probably no google app)
However, it do have a potential for IoT (:з」∠)
(but it seems still only Huawei products are using it...)

Here's where the source code is (only openharmony):
        https://gitee.com/openharmony

(too bad, it seems HarmonyOS is still not completely open source 😂 😭 )
(though there might be some API existing ?)
