Nerdzmasterz is it just me, or is the entire art section of the forum, like, completely gone now?

When the forum software switched, we lost all the uploaded material. Which included zip project files and all images. Pretty sad there wasn't a way to preserve them. Maybe we can double check if the files still exist in a backup, but it might be difficult to rewrite the links.

Similar situation. I have something to say, for example, about 3D glasses, but the topic is very narrowly defined and discussion on the subject of their crafting would be offtopic.

cybereality IDK... I mean, shouldn't we still have an area to showcase our games and art as well, or something? Or what about the place where we can play each others' games to critique them? That can be very valuable.

Perhaps instead have a section dedicated to art, one for games, and another for forum posts? At least then there's a little division and it would have a little more order.

But we have Forums for all of that. Why clutter this thread even with posts concerning the Godot engine ? It'll never be looked at or even found again in here.

I mean, I like this thread, but maybe it's better if this is sort of off-topic only and just general chat. We should probably use the rest of the features of the forum more for Godot and game/art related stuff.

We all know this thread is a glorified IRC chat.

IRC is more effective at wasting time, because you have to do it in real time. With IRC, you also have more toys to play with, such as scripts and bots.

I think the issue is the nesting. I had this problem and didn't see the other software tag when I created the material maker thread. It might be better to have less tags and more relevant top levels so you can see them on the side.

Since the shift to the unordered list home page, I've found I just lurk in this thread.

Yeah there are tags, I think I just applied zero cognitive effort to really understand/adopt them :S

Whereas before I would haunt Programming, 3D and occasionally Projects. Now I glance at top latest threads, but inevitably come here to feel safe from having to adopt "change" lol.
