computer keeps freezing up.

I would have gotten the rx 580, except the prices where increasing as I was looking at listings. So I jumped at an rx 470. It's been delayed. Know Idea when it will get here. Tomorrow, Monday, I should have a temporary card. An Radeon HD5450.

If the computer freezes, then what can I do? It has a new mobo, new ram chips. CPU passes diagnostics. Harddrive passes diagnostics. I changed mouse, I pulled out my wifi card. Could it be keyboard? I don't think it is. If only the computer would give me an erro message.

Could be something external? You have a UPS between the wall and the computer?

no it uses an internal PSU. if the PSU is bad, it must be a leaking capacitor. I don't have no way of finding out. This kind is high priced.

I think I know what an UPS is now. But, the good news is the rx 470 arrived, early. I will now get to see if it crashes. The fan on it is working. But, I am getting an pci fan failure notice anyways. Must be a different fan. Something in the case is not hooked up. I'll be sorry if it crashes, because I lost the rx 5600 xt.
