Well, I’d recommend doing some Google searches on the best microphones for your needs (music, voice calls, etc) and then buy based on that.
I have a cheap dynamic microphone that I use for recording audio and it works decently. It is not very sensitive though, which is good for not picking up background noise. Since where I work is noisy, so this was a big plus. However, because the mic is so insensitive, you have to speak very close to it (practically have to kiss it ?). Given your needs, I would not suggest a dynamic mic.
Instead, I would suggest a decent condenser microphone. They are much more sensitive and should pick up the instruments nicely. The only issue is, they may also pick up a lot of background noise. Condenser microphones supposedly sound a little warmer and softer than dynamic microphones, which for music is probably a good thing.
The Blue Yeti Nano and Snowball are supposedly decent condenser mics. I’ve heard some recordings with the Blue snowball and it sounded pretty good, especially at the (relatively) low price.
That said, I’ve only really used the dynamic mic I mentioned above, so please take this entire post with a grain of salt. I would highly recommend doing additional research from websites that review microphones and then try to choose one that meets your budget and works for your needs.
