We are a very small group working on a 2D pixel-art game. We are short-staffed and have very little experience, so we are looking for artist and coders. This is an unpaid project, as we don't really have any resources yet. We welcome new connections (even if you have no experience—just like us—it’s actually more fun that way or, if you are experienced, we would be happy to receive your guidance. Murasakiri would be nice if you could expand of who yous is and what yous makein, mr purple.

As this is non profit job, i think its justifiable to describe more about the project. that way you could garner more public interest if its interesting and save peoples time downloading and signing up to a service just to find out that this project is doomed.

I see a contradiction here. You’ll still have to present your game somehow if you want to attract anyone. Very few people (to put it mildly) will be interested based on a description like this. You need to decide what you’re willing to show from your game and provide a more detailed description.

kuligs2 Yeah, you're right. We’re just trying not to spread the idea, due to some concerns. So, our overall concept is a top-down RPG featuring a combat system that—while unique—is popular and familiar to everyone. The game is divided into episodes (to make development easier for us) and will include several unconventional mechanics, as well as specific visual elements to enhance its aesthetic appeal.

Murasakiri very vague .. is it a space game, dungeon crawler.. fortnite themed? hard to imagine what type of an art style you want to implement which is important to know, because there are specific artists that do specific art styles

seems like you dont have a vision set, yet you want to recruit people to work for you on something that you dont know 😃
Sounds like a disaster.
I get it, you want to do great things not because they are easy but because they are hard. Its fun to work in a group towards a goal, but when you dont have that goal defined then all efforts would feel like they are never enough.

I have been in your position before, and nothing ever happened out of it. Hope you succeed.
