[SOLVED] Strange twitching/screen tearing while using godot on arch linux

I've recently installed godot on my arch linux laptop and I'm experiencing this very annoying twitching and screen tearing while using the editor, I'll be sure to include a video example below.
I'm not sure why this is happening and have configured my gpu drivers correctly.
Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried different DE? im using KDE and not have the twitching problem. Im on arch aswell.

I cant see the video, so not sure what the problem you have

kuligs2 I've tried to use gnome, but I end up having the same problem.

EDIT: I fixed the video, you should be able to watch it now.

Ive seen this on one other guys video, but in his example he does not see that on his machine, he streams video / desktop and only the stream shows up like that but only for applications that are full screened.. he uses the non mouse interactable DE too .. idk which one was it..

kuligs2 the lts kernel seems to be the only one that currently supports my gpu drivers, but I'll see if it see if it does anything.
I'll keep you updated.

kuligs2 after switching to the regular linux kernel, I found out that my gpu drivers somehow work, but this has not solved the problem.

Could be driver related then.. what if you set anything other than Forward+ for the godot project?

Why dont you get newer gpu? AMD one? And a PC?

Are you sure godot is using GPU and not the iGPU?

kuligs2 launching a project in "compatibility" mode fixes the scene view, but the ui still twitches a little, so this is likely a driver issue.
by the looks of it, it seems I will need to buy a new computer in order to solve this problem.
and yes, I have verified that godot is using my dedicated gpu.

thanks a lot for the help, I'll mark this as solved since this has fixed most of my issue.

EDIT: I switched to xfce, and I'm no longer having any issues.
