I'm creating a research project where there is a virtual room the size of the actual room for the participant to do activities in (minus some space for safety). The part I'm struggling with is, is making sure the virtual room always stays in the same space in real space. Currently the room just reloads but when it does the room is loaded where the XrOrigin node is when in the editor and so If the user is in a different place the room moves, the method for ending the room is interacting with a door handle facing the opposite direction to the starting XrOrigin so the room would be loaded facing the wrong way. I've tried saving the transform of the XrOrigin to a global var and applying it on ready but I couldn't get that to work. My current thought process is to remove all Xr features from the room and have a new main scene that has nothing in it bar the xr stuff then load the room into it and then when a room is ended it removes and adds the next room, which should keep the rooms all in the same space. Is there an easier way to do this? Would my solution work? Thanks!
