Hello everyone I made a godot 4.5 tutorial explaining 4 types of physics bodies that is area 3d, static body 3d, rigid body 3d, character body 3d. Please give me feedback on how to improve further. Link -

Augergaming Personally I don't watch videos without a narration. But here is some quick feedback after 30 seconds.

Keep your video short and concise.
Get rid of the intro.
Instead of wiggling the mouse in a circle around a button that the user should click, add an arrow in post production.
Write short instructions.
Show the instructions all the time and don't remove them after a couple of seconds.
Split your text into instructions, that the user should follow, and explanations. Show them in different styles.

It's called CollisionShape3D and Area3D. Use the proper names.

This is something that almost everyone who makes videos without narration gets wrong, which is why I tend to immediately turn these kind of videos off.

But i tend to generally not invest my time in videos that are auto generated and not human made..

This video sus like that.

The op could atleast narrate with voice, if he so compelled to make a tutorial, then slowly show where to click and how to add nodes ect..

Yes i typed ect. you have to read ECT!

But the video blasts you with random music, then the mouse click all over the place too fast for a noob to notice.. And if you just present people with text then its much faster to just read documentation and maybe watch a video or look up demon project where you can see the nodes in action.

On top of what others have said - structure. So many tutorials out there that just start with robotic "click this click that" and go on like this for minutes. This is very hard to watch as you never know where exactly are this long sequences of click this and thats leading and is it worth your time to watch it.

Hierarchically structure your content instead. Start with a brief introduction/summary/lead that explains what will be covered, then do an overview of key concepts, and only then go into clicking this and that.

Tomcat Hmm. You have a point. I do prefer video tutorials due to my ADHD but, I don't know why this video in particular couldn't just be an article; it's filled with words and no talking.
