kuligs2 Thanks i got it figured out now, the issue was Microsoft Edge
If Edge is open at all then it hogs the hotkey alt + shift + s
I could have sworn that I didn't have any app opened that would hog hotkeys like that back when I was trying to fix this, but I had opened Edge earlier because the browser I was using didn't have webgl enabled or something and so after I was done with that I closed edge and just assumed that because it wasn't in the tray that it wasn't open at all but it was still in task manager the whole time.
The issue stopped happening as soon as i closed edge through task manager.
It's still weird because outside of edge alt+shift+s does literally nothing so I don't think it has a reason to completely hog it
If there's a way in Godot to stop apps from completely hogging and blocking hotkeys altogether then I would probably like to use that in my game, because as minor as they might be it would still be annoying as a player to get problems like that.
