aosmenaj Hello everyone, I'm currently working on a 2D Souls-like game and have already implemented some core features, such as walking and attack animations, as well as scene transitions. Unfortunately, I’m unable to upload a video here (not sure why), but I’d love to hear your thoughts on the project so far. If there's an alternative way to share videos that’s allowed on this platform, please let me know. Also, I’m looking for someone interested in collaborating—feel free to reach out if you're up for working together!
Tomcat aosmenaj If there's an alternative way to share videos that’s allowed on this platform, please let me know. The easiest and most reliable way is .gif. ScreenToGif (freeware) makes surprisingly small (relatively, of course) files and allows editing (and reducing) them.
Toxe aosmenaj Unfortunately, I’m unable to upload a video here (not sure why) A link to Youtube should be the easiest option.
kuligs2 Tomcat gifs weight more than mp4 it makes no sense... The overlord should allow webms/mp4 that are byte sized like an image for example.. sometimes video weighs less than an image, and yet you cant upload it. I use streamable, but free accounts gets videos deleted after few weeks/months. As for the game, its not a souls game because i dont see the - YOU DIED! screen. Its important part of the souls games because thats the only part that i remember.
kuligs2 Toxe not everyone can afford to verify ages on youtube. His game contains voilance that is against TOS and or will be flagged as age restricted content and wont be visible.
Tomcat Toxe A link to Youtube should be the easiest option. DaveTheCoder The news is more violent than any game, and YouTube is okay with that. YouTube is increasingly requiring registration for simple viewing. So it's not a good idea.

kuligs2 DaveTheCoder for you maybe, but not for youtube TOS. THey think of any reason to silence some people while promote others.. i guess who pays them more gets more benefits. Anyways, i suggest for debugging processes and forum uses use streamable, anything other than that idk.
Toxe Another option would be imgur.com. I used it before to upload a small video and embed it here. https://godotforums.org/d/37749-half-circle-weapon-bob/3
