Hey all, I'm looking for new opportunities as a game programmer, with some of my availability opening up, meaning about 15-20 hours per week.
I've been coding since 2019, originally started with C++ which gave me a solid understanding of programming, and up to this day, I'm very interested in low-level systems, compilers and more.

As my title suggests, my main experience lies in the** platformer and RPG genres** (both 2D and 3D, however, my portfolio is more about 2D projects), but I've worked on other things such as restaurant managers and sokobans. Regardless of genres, I find my strengths to be prototyping, communication and building dev-only tools, like asset creation interfaces or anything that means development on the non-coder side accelerates.

I have experience completing projects from scratch to uploading to Steam, we've organized multiple playtest/debug builds to make bug hunting and dev playthroughs smoother.
Last year, I started tutoring people on Godot, which I'm still doing, and this opportunity improved my technical communication skills a lot, knowing how to convey developer needs in multiple ways, so that my clients (and in projects, my coworkers) can get on the same page as me. With that being said, I find myself an easy-going, communicative individual, willing to also lend a hand in game design questions.

Please see my portfolio for more about my track record, and feel free to DM me to get in touch on Discord @olcgreen! Thank you!
