As defined in the Toolbox Subscription Agreement for Non-Commercial Use, commercial products are products distributed or made available for a fee or used as part of your business activity. However, there are certain categories excluded explicitly from this definition. Common examples of non-commercial cases include learning and self-education, any form of content creation, open-source code, and hobby development.

It’s important to note that, if you’re using a non-commercial license, you cannot opt out of the collection of anonymous usage statistics. We use this information to improve our products. This is similar to our Early Access Program (EAP) and is in compliance with our Privacy Policy.

I've never used either of these applications. But I use Jetbrains's IntelliJ IDEA (Community Edition), and Google's Android Studio, which is based on the former, and they work very well.

That's really nice. I tested rider a while ago and thought I give it another try. But I'm so used to VS now I'm wondering if there are any benefits for switching?

First of all I became used to the font colors and style of VS that I found it really hard to "see" the code in rider. I know that you can change the theme, colors, fonts etc to match VS easily, which was the first thing I did today again, though I like the default font, but I can't read it as good.
So my question to anyone who used both extensively: Could you highlight me some huge differences between those two? I heard about some benefits when using it in Unity, but I don't know what those were.
