Tomcat use matrix, synapse, host it yourself, there are plenty of communities out there to get you... related and unrelated.. some are wores than the others, but some, where im circled in, dont ban because of your opinions.. no censorship.. ofc, no spamming or posting some inhumane pics, but opinions are welcomed..
Also if you dont want, many communities there are duplicated, extended, or bridged whatever you call it, to IRC chats, so if you use IRC then you can join them too and interact with people.. some even bridge discord rooms and telegram, but that differs from community to community
