PotatoArmor this is an unofficial forum that is fan-run. The latter forum is run by the Godot devs and their team (I assume). There's probably far more technical support questions on the godotengine page since, obviously, that's the official one.

Plenty of expertise here too, though, for what it's worth.

    This one is a fan hosted forum, the other the offical one.

    The former (this site) is third-party, "unofficial", and has been through at least two changes of ownership.

    The latter is "official" and newer.

    PotatoArmor Hi there! https://forum.godotengine.org/ is a relatively new official forum run by the Godot Foundation while this is not. This forum has, however, existed for a long time and has always been driven by the community with a shared passion for Godot Game engine.

    Other ways that this forum differentiates itself is by providing features that benefits the community. With a mission to help people become successful with their projects. Either by getting technical help from others in the community, feedback on the projects or more exposure. An example of this is the Highlighted projects on top of the page. Those are voted by the community and refreshes each month.
