Hey I can do a lot in 2 weeks. (sometimes)
Rules & Guidelines
Originality:
The game should be developed entirely during the 2-week jam period.
You may use free assets from online sources (art, music, sound, code snippets, etc.), but make sure to credit all external content properly.
Clones of existing games are allowed but must show a creative twist.
Content Restrictions:
No explicit content: Avoid sexually explicit, offensive, or inappropriate material.
No hate speech or harmful content directed at any person, group, or community.
Keep the jam environment inclusive and welcoming for all participants.
Use of Tools:
You are free to use any libraries or development tools on top of the Godot game engine.
Feel free to leverage open-source projects or frameworks, as long as they align with the jam's time and originality rules.
Cooperation & Help:
Teamwork is encouraged! You can work with others or seek outside advice and feedback.
Sharing tips and resources with other jammers is welcomed, but avoid providing full game solutions to others.
Submission Guidelines:
To simplify the judging process, the submission will need to be uploaded to itch.io and run in the browser.
Games should be submitted before the deadline (exact time/date). Late submissions will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Make sure your game is playableâprovide clear instructions and any necessary downloads. If your game isnât fully finished, thatâs okay! Submit what youâve got.
Code & Assets:
If you use someone elseâs assets or code, be transparent about it and credit the original creators properly.
Judging Criteria:
While there are no strict scoring criteria, participants are scored using a weighted voting system. Judges are given 5, 10, and 15 point tokens which they award to their three favorite submissions.
