wait a minute, I found another godot forum. And when I google about, "why there are two godot forums?" I got another godot forum.

https://forum.godotengine.org/ > this I assume is the official one?
https://godotforums.org/ > it's this forum!!
https://godot.community/ > I don't know about this one.

Why are there 3 forums? Did I miss some important historical Godot events?

garbage, its like SO, where nobaddy cares, or you just asking too stupid of a question.

    pegasusearl https://godot.community/ > I don't know about this one.

you can count number of posts on your fingers in this one, so idk.. not much traefik.

probably the only best forum where you can get real answers.

The official forum uses... what's the software called? Discourse? If I see that I am immediately biased towards not liking it because I tend to find those forums rather confusing. But I am trying to visit the official forum more. But I tend to forget most of the time.

Also as a fourth option there is https://www.reddit.com/r/godot/, even though Reddit isn't technically a forum.

pegasusearl You are right, the first one is the official one. I've got the feeling that it has more users than this one. And there are some engine maintainers too. I'm not sure if there are any around here, at least I haven't recognized any names so far.

I didn't know the third one too. I first signed up here because it came up first in the the search results. But now I'm using the official one too.

kuligs2 garbage, its like SO, where nobaddy cares, or you just asking too stupid of a question.

What does that mean? I don't understand.

kuligs2 i dont even understand whats going on..

It's an old story. Unfortunately, that thread was decided to be taken down. You can read a bit about it in my Mastodon.

trizZzle I believe the event Tomcat was refering to was this:

Yeah, that's the one. It's very brief, but it gets the main point right.

The first one is a very recent new one(and I'd say oriented more towards core engine contributors/developers), the second one, that is this one is a 'forum for users by users' that grew out of rescue efforts of the OG godotengine.org forums wayyy back in the days. And the third one I'm not familiar with either. Then there's also the reddit community. Godot as a free and open project has always been naturally rather fragmented tho when it comes to the user communities.

Toxe what's the software called? Discourse?

I thought this forum also uses discourse. It tastes similar, maybe slightly different looking.
