Hey There!
I'm a Professor of Psychology who studies human memory and I'm looking to get a quote on some work related to a basic VR "game" where participants work in a convenience store and are ultimately robbed. The purpose is to study how people remember criminal events. We have a basic implementation created in Unity but I'm applying for a grant within which I'd like to convert it to Godot and make a few tweaks to the graphics, etc. For now, I am hoping to find someone who could help me get an idea as to how much something like this would cost (very ballpark) so we can put in our bid for funding. If the funds are received, we would then move forward with the project. My group hopes to do additional VR studies in the future, so this could turn into additional work. If desired, the developer could also be involved in research papers derived from the work (with some stipulations).
Not sure if this is the best place to post, but if you're interested, drop me a line and I can offer further detail. The 'game' would be very basic, largely involving scripted interactions with customers, taking cash, making change, etc. Given this is intended for research purposes, we would prefer someone with prior VR development experience. If interested or you know someone who might be, let me know, especially if you are based in Canada.
Cheers!
