Banning posts that you "think" are offensive, or proactive or whatever, is just another form of racism.. I know i use the word wrongly here and it was intentional.
I hate when there are places where people get silenced, banned, shadow banned, censored, etc.. I thought humanity already grew out of the times where popes touched children, molested them, and jews were gassed because they jews. Same goes for freedom of speech.
There are some games lately that been released where developers gave "modders" permission to disable players ability to chat in game. Many players were muted based on "modder" thoughts on whats appropriate or not.. when players tried to appeal in their official "Discord" they were banned from discord as-well.... thus horribly reduced the community that liked the game, and now pretty much the game is dead.
And on the same note, in the same game, those same modders banned players from playing the game, because they thought that the player is not playing the game according to rules.. brugh.. this is some bs imo.. you pay for the game to play, you play it to enjoy, and then some rando bans you because you had fun.. im not talking about cheating or modifying the binaries.. just playing the game using the ingame stuff.. if it is against the "rules" why that posibility exist in the game in the first place? i mean if you dont want people to do that, then why go through the effor to add it into the game in th efirst place? and people got banned.. permanently.. and now there are people who paid for a game that they cant play.. its not a server ban its a service ban..
Now thats another form of slavery in the making where corpo own you. You gib them moonies and they stick their finger up your butt.
Now for the ability to hide post you dont want to see. There could be a button or something to hide the post you dont like. Also, if you that hard core, there could be blocklist of users and you could add users you dont like and dont see posts from them users..
