Maintenance release: Godot 4.1.2

Godot 4.1.2 contains a number of stability improvements, addressing crashes related to threading, editor features, networking, GUI, and rendering.

Maintenance releases are expected to be safe for an upgrade, but we recommend to always make backups, or use a version control system such as Git, to preserve your projects in a case of corruption or data loss.

Oh lovely, I had no idea there would be a 4.1.2. Downloading now to give it a try.

BTW, something that I love about Godot is that I can just have a directory on my desktop with different versions of the editor/engine in it and be done with it. No installing or other crap like that.

Tomcat These icons are great! Is there some quick and easy way on Windows to switch a program icon? It's extremely simple to do on Mac and it would be nice to do the same on Windows.

Nah. It is possible to change the folder icon — this is inherited from a common Win and Mac progenitor. It is impossible to change the program icon directly — it is necessary to use third-party programs.

"Speaking with bribing sincerity" ©️, I usually had the opposite task — to pull icons from a file. I was changing icons for folders, which is done without any problems. And set icons to programs only in Godot with its tools (rcedit).

You can try these free programs:
