  • The Annunaki of Sumer - Game Development Live Stream

Hey everyone, This is my first post here so I'm kinda excited..
I've started working on my ridiculously over-scoped first game, involving the exciting world of 'The Annunaki of Sumer.' The game is inspired by Sitchin's writing. It's a mix of real-time strategy and first-person action.

Here's the idea: player gets to play as an Annunaki in the first phase, planning your strategy from up high, like the ancient gods did. Then, it's down on the battlefield, taking on the role of a human commander, executing your plan with melee and ranged weapons. Think wind mechanics, blinding sun, and etc. (Did I mentioned I over-scoped?)

I'm a beginner solo dev , and I'm super excited to share this journey. I'd love to find a community of like minded people who would be interested in something like this. And I thought this would be a good place to start.
Want to join me? I'm all about learning as I go, and I'd love for you to be part of the process.

If you're into cool gameplay mechanics, ancient mysteries, and having fun while creating something cool, let's connect and make 'The Annunaki of Sumer' a reality!
Here's a link to my livestream on Vimm.tv if you want to follow me there. I'll be streaming in a couple of hours.

Are you more interested in watching the game develop from the beginning, or when there's already a demo to show?

Right from the start, I'm a trend setter!!100%
Not for me, I'll wait to get my hair plugs when the technology improves.0%

Hey, welcome to the forum!

Cool concept! I for one love following people’s journey from start. I usually don’t watch streams though. Don’t have the patience for it. I prefer watching cut together videos. But I’m sure tons of people love streams.

Either way, I’m looking forward to seeing your progress with the game 🙂

MikeCL Thank so much for the response! I totally understand, live streams are very different from highlights. Thanks for the support and i look forward to sharing the progress...
