  • Exciting News: Welcoming Retroshark, Our New Moderator!

Hi Everyone,

Quick yet crucial announcement: I’m excited to introduce “Retroshark” as the new Moderator for our forum! Although new to our community, Retroshark has rapidly shown a deep understanding of our values, culture, and discussions.

With past developer experience and valuable moderating experience from other platforms, Retroshark is a fantastic fit. Importantly, he’s also an adept user of our game engine, providing another dimension to his contribution.

@retroshark will be helping manage threads and ensuring that our community remains a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive space for all, from today onward.

Let's extend a hearty welcome to Retroshark and offer our support as he assumes this new role. Feel free to reach out to him for any forum-related issues, game development queries, or even just a friendly hello!

Keep developing and supporting,
/Mike

Yo yo!

I am looking forward to meeting everyone over the coming weeks! I have been a Godot user since 2019 and for the most part kept a quiet eye on the community up until this point. I have such love and support for this engine and community, that I wanted to take a more active role in supporting.

I have been in the game development space for a little over a decade at this point. Some of you may know me as the creator of the GBJAM (GameBoy Jam), which is coming up on its 11th year.

I look forward to working closely with Mike and all of you to cultivate an inclusive community that feels great for all of us to be. Please reach out to me about anything at all. My PM box is always open!

Best,
Retroshark

linkdude240 Thanks! The Gameboy will always have a special place in my heart. Glad to have brought something into the world that allows us to celebrate it on a regular basis!
