I'm putting an NSFW discussion here, and whatever happens, happens. This is a social experiment.
So, how many adults use Godot?
I don't know what to put here
So I wanted to allow more open discussions on the forum (though I did have to remove one recent one that got out of hand).
Sadly Flarum (the forum software) does not have a way to hide sections, I was thinking about making a plugin but I haven't got around to it.
Yes, at 5'5" I might be small for my age but I am 47
23, I may be one of the younger fellows here.

this poll is rigged:
because this post is NSFW, only adults are going to see it and answer the poll.
the Godot Community Poll has a much more accurate answer of how many adults use Godot.
Sosasees Poll is testing the tag.

I am 18 years old but I put in my google account that I was born in the year 2000 because it did not let me see a lot of YouTube content, and that changed the date to a false one when I was 16 years old (that is, two years ago)
el_malo Oof, that whiplash. Time sure flies... Anyways, the third poll option is for you then.

The alcoholic drink is not true, I already had wine on New Year's and also, since I am reading it translated into Spanish by Google, I did not understand what it said well (just as you probably do not understand it or find some discrepancy in this message, because I'm translating with google)

Yeah, but the poll was created by an american. It's a bit of a joke on how at 18 you can join the military but not legally drink yet.
I saw a post on Reddit about this dude that is now over 18, but when he created his Twitter account he was underage, but lied and said he was born on September 11th, 2001. But somehow Elon Musk found out and banned him, he appealed, but was forced to delete every post from when he was under 13 (guess it's a US data collection law). Just thought that was funny.

The situation in Russia is exactly the same. And the army is compulsory.

In my opinion, it makes sense. Junior enlisted military personnel are under constant supervision. (I'm a veteran, so I know that from personal experience.)
Behaving responsibly when drinking alcohol takes maturity. I think the minimum age should be at least 21, with a possible exception if there's adult supervision.
SuperDoomKing You reminded me I will be 24 by the time the year is out, and it's already half way there.
Normally that would scare me, but age is a number and I'm still handed youth passes when the bus driver doesn't ask how old I am.
My secret is cardio and allergic reactions to red meat, as well as possibly too much fiber.

DaveTheCoder Junior enlisted military personnel are under constant supervision.
A little clarification: as a rule in theory and only in peacetime. (However, we may have different experiences.)
DaveTheCoder Here it used to be certain alcoholic beverages below a certain parts per vol. were 18+ and above were 21+. But it's not a thing anymore and now it's all just 18+. Overall alcohol consumption is trending down, especially of the abusive/excessive amounts.
cybereality Had a vague memory so did a quick search. There's apparently some new legislation being pushed for social media specifically. But most online communities that have terms and conditions for joining don't allow ages below 13 because legally people under 13(?) in the US can't enter into contracts.

Not sure if the above site is really legit or not, but seems reasonable enough.
Megalomaniak Same is true here as far as "abusive amounts". Thanks to state law, the public discovered an alternative depressant/intoxicant that doesn't come with a hangover, contains far fewer calories, and actively discourages bouts of rage. I'm not saying we're morally upright, we just found a less destructive vice.
I think I had my first drink (bought myself) when I was 13. It was hard to go to liquor stores looking like a kid, but you could go to the supermarket and buy a bunch of random stuff (potato chips and ice cream, etc.) and slip in a 6-pack and most of the time they wouldn't notice. You can't do that anymore, but things were more lax in the 90's.

cybereality My first drink I brewed myself, because I was, and still am, convinced the true spirit of punk lies in DIY. It wasn't anything normal like moonshine or beer, no. For whatever reason, as I was deciding what to brew, I chose Aztec blood wine. The recipe was from an ancient web 1.0 site I can not remember, but I do remember it used serrano chili peppers, agave nectar, cacao nibs and blood. It was reconstructed and improvised from scraps of actual recipes that survived the spanish settlers of the time, though the modern recipe did urge using annato instead of blood. Something about "cross contamination".
My version was not authentic. Normally it was brewed from yeast in the air in clay pots covered in banana tree leaves. I had none of those things, so I bought wine yeast and brewed it in a metal mixing bowl covered with tin foil.
It was pretty good after brewing for a while. Imagine tequila but spicy with the acidic/earthy taste of cacao. Afterwards, it only aged for 6 months before my mom found it and threw it away, but I did taste it right before she did. The spicy toned down, and it was far sweeter than it was earthy or acidic. It was the best wine I tasted in my life, and I still think about that tragedy in the sink when she threw it away to this day.
