  • There's a Godot 4 "mini-Degree" on Zenva Academy

Which includes 4 projects, 2D and 3D platformers, turn based RPG, and a survival game.

I plan to attempt all of them, assuming I have enough ink/paper in me printer to print out the PDFs.

This is it

Technically I did the 3D platformer last week.

Tomcat Because being a man, I can't multi-task πŸ˜ƒ (have the browser and Godot 4 open at the same time to work on the projects)

Tomcat Just because he wore a dress doesn't mean he wasn't a man πŸ˜ƒ

Also, I don't have room in the "Office" for 2 monitors.

It's only a small Flat (Apartment to the Americans)

Cat Thanks for the link, looks interesting, I just have no money at the moment, how much is $18 in UK money at current exchange rate anyway?

GodotBeginnerRich how much is $18 in UK money at current exchange rate anyway?

I was just very surprised that the first quarter of the XXI-st century is coming to an end, and someone is still using a printer and paper. Even in our extremely wild and aggressive, cold northern country on the edge of the oikumene, e-books are used now. Although, often not as sophisticated. This is what I bought myself and am very happy with.

I can't say anything about currency conversion, since our local money is actually no longer quoted anywhere in the world. It is possible to try to exchange them only for yuan… not always successfully.

Tomcat Contrary to popular belief, the world does not revolve around North America.... More to the point, I can't afford to keep buying e-books, especially when I don't have a mobile phone at the moment to read them on (although that could possibly be solved by this time tomorrow)

          Cat Here Puss! πŸ˜ƒ

That's great! I get paid from work next week, I might invest.

Unfortunately I don't have access to my mobile number at the moment so I can't verify the payment at the Bank, although I might be able to sort that by tomorrow dinner time.

          a month later

GodotBeginnerRich I wish there was a way to purchase the full Zenva "Godot 4 Mini-Degree" at a discount. Most courses therein can only be bought one by one at full price. :-P I hate subscription-based learning wherein my access to the courses gets removed when it ends and no way to refer back to the videos if needed.
