Release candidate: Godot 4.0.1 RC 1
Well, it's not very funny… stable releases probably mean stability for some time… in my humble opinion, clearly more than two weeks. It seems that now the emphasis is on fixing bugs and finalizing documentation.

Seems overkill to have an RC for a point .0.X release, just release .0.2 if there is an issue
The releases are always labeled as something: dev, alpha, beta, release-candidate or stable.
Yeah, I agree, @davek but I guess that are trying to be careful since 4.0 just came out and a lot of people are foaming at the mouth.
True. TBH it's not a big deal to me, I'm just making conversation 🙂
It's all good. I don't think the numbers or labels mean anything really at this point. It's just an update.
