Hello, can someone please help me?

I've been enjoying Godot 3 since last year and it works just fine on my computer, but now that I downloaded Godot 4, it takes nearly a minute to run my project which makes it impossible to test my game. I don't understand why because everything else seems to work great, and the game runs just fine once it's loaded.

It's not complicated either. I'm a total novice and just have two characters and a floor.

I have Windows 11 and "Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10210U CPU @ 1.60GHz, 2112 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)" running on a DELL XPS 13.

I'm not sure if that's the info people want about what hardware I'm using. I'd appreciated if anyone has a solution so I can use this new version of Godot.

I found switching from "Forward+" to "Compatibility" fixed my issue, but if there's anything I should know about this situation I encountered, I'd appreciated any help.

Do you have a GPU? It sounds like it's on integrated, so that could be part of the problem. Even so, 1 minute sounds too long.
