Hey there,

we currently are looking to build a game I'd in short describe as Pokemon TCG Online meets Warhammer 40k Tacticus

Pokemon Gameplay example from about 1 min in

WH 40k Gameplay example

Basically you collect & trade Cards, from these you build up a character you put on a hex battlefield/ arena to beat your opponent.

The whole ecosystem will be based on blockchain technology, so cards are NFT (but actually with a use case, haha), can be bought, traded, sold etc, community members can submit own artworks and earn royalties etc.
For the blockchain part we have the dev & resources, we have some first artworks, game design & mechanics, but the game development part got lost over time. Looking for a new resource (or even team member if desired) in that department, we opened up from the initial thought of unity towards Godot in particular.

So if that type of project sounds interesting for you, or you're maybe even looking to get into a joint development of the studio we are in progress forming right now, please get in contact!

i am good with coming up with solutions during development.

there are things that you should watch out for that you might need i'm going to mention them below. if you are unhappy with any, make sure any other person you go after doesn't have those flaws or it will hassle you down the road.
things that i lack but can learn to do quickly :

    • blockchain programming : can learn what we need quickly.
    • Android Services and Notifications : it's needed for background processing if the game is closed on android.

things that i lack experience with :

    • Multiplayer API : there is too many ways which it can be implemented. no experience is ever enough. i only went as far as doing tests with WebRTC and ENet with rpc calls.
    • Git : i have used it a bit before. it's easy to learn it's just i had rarely used it.

things that i don't have the tools to do efficiently :

    • IOS and Mac OS Export : they require special licenses. and in order to even export for IOS you will need Mac OS. apple is not friendly towards devs at all. these might be done remotely but that might slow the development and testing.

    i take pay in crypto.
