As stated, how do you add advertisements to a mobile game made with Godot? I used to know how to do this with Unity, but things are really screwed up there, I can't do much. Now I either switch to another engine or continue to bang my head against a wall. (Not really, but it is frustrating 😉 ) Admob does not work, so I need an alternative. AppLovin is the only alternative I'm aware of, but that doesn't mean it's the best option.

THNX.

Godot doesn't come with built-in support. You'd have to find a plug-in, and hope it's up to date. You can also do the integration yourself, usually the ad services have an API or example code, but honestly this might be kind of difficult if you haven't done it before.

It's my first time with Godot, but I still want to learn it. Aside from that, by using the API and example code, are you referring to something similar to what I had to do to get Admob on Unity back when it was working?

Nerdzmasterz There are videos specific to Godot about AdMob (haven't tried them myself though, only watched them previously), (and yes you'll need a plugin that can be downloaded):

    or

No Admob. They deactivated my account and I didn't know about it until after I had to replace my phone. Idk if I possibly could have the account recovered.

Nerdzmasterz You should try that, because AdMob is the best choice for mobile games on Google Play. I mean, do you not plan to release your game on Play Store anyway?

Anyway, there are Godot-specific tutorials for AppLovin (but for those I personally haven't even watched, so...):

I will definitely check this out! Will update best answer if it works.
