Have you looked on Open Game Art? Their selection of 3D models isn't the best. But it's free, and I'm fairly certain they respect your privacy.
where do you buy game assets from?

newmodels CGTrader, requires to be deported into a strange country and judged for eternal slavery.
CGTrader.com was purchased(partially IIRC) by investors from my own state of Estonia, EU last I was paying attention to it. It's certainly no strange country but with that said investors being investors I guess I wouldn't put it past them to try and fleece people. 's capitalism for you...
As for Lithuania where CGTrader is headquartered in, not a strange country either, a fellow baltic state that too is a democratic member of the EU. Also they have a regional office in Orlando, FL. I'm more inclined to question your geographic, economic and sociopolitical awareness in response tbh. Or are you referring to something else?
newmodels I cannot get past the bad user agreements.
In that case you might just want to build your own website and sell through there. If you really want to make it easy for yourself you can always use squarespace or it's alternatives.
I'm talking about the user agreement of CGTrader. If someone accuses of plagarism, that is what you agree too, being deported and judged. Only because I am an American, the judgement will never go in my favor.
Having been a content producer, I know that plagarism accusations happen very often and easy. People take your artwork, then claim it as their own. And according to cgtraders agreement, if that happens I will be judged.

newmodels I'm pretty sure that's going to be the same no matter which marketplace you use, especially if you use any from nations that have signed extradition treaties with the US(typically the initiator of such deals btw). An easy way to know which is which would be to look up which nations have got a visa free travel deal with the US, the deportation clauses are often a part of those unless a preexisting extradition treaty for it already existed. It doesn't even matter if EULAs include anything on this, the national laws and international agreements supersede EULAs anyways.
The CGTrader EULA is probably just being more honest about it acknowledging that these kinds of extradition treaties exist.
I don't know their reasoning. Looks like it's not in the eula anymore I looked. But, because of tax reasons I can't list with them right now.
And unless I can start producing quality 3d models, that people also want to get, there really is not much money in stock models. As things are right now, people do not like my models.
I think the only way to make it from freelance 3d models is to take jobs, directly with clients.
lol cgtrader sells alot of stolen models from my sketchfab, i hate that website.
i would advise getting more experience in modelling before u start freelance, im not saying your work is bad but there are things u need to improve on in your skills
DJM lol cgtrader sells alot of stolen models from my sketchfab, i hate that website.
I don't think it's any different than say turbosquid. Just that there's a lot more pirates out there than creators or staff to try and check everything listed on their sites. Legally the onus is on you to send cease & desist messages to have these models be taken down. Sadly such is the overall state of things.

Megalomaniak if i had to spend time to submit all dmca's from my stolen models it would take me hours
i got better things to do
DJM Yep, hence 'Sadly such is the overall state of things' and that is precisely what these asset thieves are counting on.
Megalomaniak yes i know, but smart people will find the real free version
