DJM Honestly dude, this is epic! Great movement, as well as graphics, and such smooth animation in Godot as well! Great reflection too, I'm wondering how long have you been doing 3D for?
Adam_Grace03 about 14 years now. but i have been going to art school all my life prior to that
This looks cool. Did you find your programmer yet?
I'm not sure I have time to join this, but I am considering working on an FPS project myself. I have a few ideas of different game choices, but the FPS one seems the most promising right now. I have about 2 months to decide, before I graduate school. I'd be willing to share some of my code, that is not an issue, but the project will not be open source (might release the source like a year or two after release similar to DOOM, once I have made some money).
cybereality looking forward to what u will make. u are welcome to join
ive decided not to make it open source, i think i found a coder, fingers crossed.
Yeah, I really don't think making games open source from the start is a great idea. Unless it is something simple like a tutorial game. Most full games are too complex to be of use for beginners to learn, and you lose out on any money. Not sure, but I may open source like a few years later (after I have made what it was going to make) or open source a small level of the game (not the full thing). Still have to figure that out, but I need to support myself first and foremost.
