Updated with a new version.

Download from itch.io: https://maaack.itch.io/tea-time-test#download

Changes include:

  • A nicer tea box to replace the bag of tea.
  • Mint tea replaces strawberry tea.
  • Third level of recognition for mixed teas.
  • Various monologues depending on how many times the game has been played.

I'm intending to release it to the public next week. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I released the full version of Tea Time: Short on Time today. Thanks to the forums for some of the help in getting here. It was a lengthy journey for such a short game.

If you have time to check it out and provide feedback, I will probably appreciate it even more.

(I can't seem to update the title of this thread to remove the "WIP:". Lost feature from moving to the new forum?)

Scroll up to the top, there is a blue button on the right that says reply with an arrow. Click the arrow and see if you see the button rename. I am able to rename it, but I don't know if regular users can.

I see the Reply button on the top right, but no arrow on the button. The Follow button (just below it) has a drop-down arrow, but not the option to Edit.

cybereality changed the title to Tea Time: Short on Time .

Guess it's only for mods. I changed the title. You might also try edit on the first post.

Thank you! Did try editing the first post, but didn't see an option there either. Seems like just a mod thing.

Anyway, for those who haven't, please come check out the game! It takes 5-10 minutes to play. Hope to see you there 😉

Well, I've just double checked and normal users do have editing permissions for their own posts. No ... button at the bottom right of your own posts? Or maybe just a pencil icon?

To clarify my earlier post, I can edit my first post (and any post of my own), but doing so does not give me an option to change the title of the discussion.

Right, that helped me narrow it down. Apparently renaming was set to expire in 10m after posting. I've set it to indefinetly, lets see how it works out. If no issues come up I think we can leave it as such.

Pinging @TwistedTwigleg just so we can hopefully be on the same page. There is also a rename permission under moderation but I suspect that would apply to all topics by every user, so if the topic editing timeout setting isn't sufficient then I think we are at an impasse and contacting moderation/administration is the only option because I will not enable full control over every topics title to all registered users, obviously.

That worked. I renamed my own discussion twice (back-n-forth just to test it), but don't see the same option to rename discussions started by others.

I'm hoping to share a video like this elsewhere to promote the game.
Any feedback? Does it capture the feel of the game? Should I add music?

This one has music and runs longer to add the attribution. Is it better with music?
